I get why it’s cool to not like mainstream things, and I get the joke. But just wanted to quickly drop in, as someone that has been in music my whole life, playing it, composing it and being involved in all kinds of underground music scenes. Ed is actually a real one, the lad has talent and works hard to hone it. Sure he produces some trash consumable radio-friendly soup but listen to some of his smaller tracks and you find a lot of gold nuggets. He’s also just plain impressive in how easy he makes it look and the amount of ghost writing he’s done.
The joke wasn’t that he’s terrible or unworthy of any respect. Literally just that I don’t like pop, don’t like his music, and frequently watch music videos on YT. And they don’t know my tastes and can’t serve me ads the way they want. That was the point, not anything about ed Sheeran specifically
Yeah I realize that no worries at all! Didn’t mean to imply that, but still also can see how it might resonate this way with some people and just generally figured it was a good opportunity to get the soap box out.
This looks like a card the video creator added to the video in YouTube. If that is true, then it has nothing to do with uBlock origin.
