I want to be able to say eat the rich and luigi magione was right.
You can. [email protected] & [email protected]
You just can’t advocate for violence.

Oh, to be a happy NPC u_u
What does it taste like
I’m on mobile so I can’t reply and read the screenshot at the same time, but it said something that implied certain neopronouns are delusional, or “not living in reality.”
It’s disrespectful whether you think she’s right or wrong. And what’s perhaps even worse than that, it mirrors what right wingers say about trans people in general. We’re better than that.
As much as I hate to agree with them, spujb is right about this one. Ada made her stance on the matter clear, and IIRC, it’s an official rule now.
So a preemptive ban isn’t exactly uncalled for here considering the disrespect in that last screenshot…
The rule is just to post before you leave lol. The “rule in the title” thing is more of a tradition.
The ice grows thinner…
I didn’t know that. I don’t really follow celebs tbh, I was just giving Bluesky a shot and he popped up in my feed.
Your take is reasonable as a devils advocate type of thing, but I don’t think having a rule against anti-religious sentiments is a good thing regardless of what instance it’s in.
I get not wanting to form an echo chamber, but it’s not our fault that online spaces largely became a refuge for atheists and people who are critical of religion. I say let the dice fall where they may in a space where both theist and anti-theist opinions are allowed.
And aside from that, lumping anti-religious sentiments in with racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia is just ridiculous. At the very least they could have worded it better.
They’re calling Luigi supporters tankies because… The middle/lower class cheered for the worst of the bourgeoisie being taken out???
@[email protected] Maybe you were right lol. Like seriously, I’ll stop using “tankie” as a shorthand for “authoritarian apologist”.
Also, PTB. Well, it was written in the rules… But the rule itself is power-tripping IMO.
crappy
How dare you
Same. Idk where to find a doctor I trust, though, since I live in a Republican-majority state…
DIY sounds more and more enticing by the day
Looking at your comments, you deserved it.
That’s totally valid. I’ll have to start checking the modlog every once and a while when I’m on.
We do have a group email and a matrix chat for this kind of thing, but tbf it’s not linked anywhere where an unjustly banned user would think to look… I’ll see about putting it somewhere more obvious in case this kind of thing keeps happening. (Y’all can also DM us. I think Qaz and I are the most active but Peachy is also reliable)
Honestly I don’t entirely disagree. But it is a very… nuanced situation.
I think there’s a layer of subjectivity that protects us from getting banned from LW. Things like “free Luigi” and “Luigi did nothing wrong” are fine because they’re not directly advocating for violence. But you can’t say X, Y, or Z should get murdered. I think that’s the line.
I moderate both of those subs but honestly I think I’d agree with you, .world was not the best place to create those communities.
