        Not so much for me. I was watching the works of both growing up. They occupied different territory, most certainly. Williams’ manic improvisation VS Varney’s developed and consistent characterization. They had their niche and were both tragically cut short, respectively. Also worth noting Paul Reubens in that conversation, with slightly more mixed opinions.

          I put on Pee-Wee’s big adventure the other day just to see how it hold up and was amazed at the number of lines that were a huge part of my childhood. So much of his banter was gold for kids to repeat ad nauseum.
