I acknowledge their thumbnail is horrible. They’re a great channel, though!

Just wait until you see the SmartFire:

In their ad’s they leave it on a bookshelf behind their couch, while they watch a movie with their kid.

There’s definitely no way a child with access to Wikipedia/ youtube could get that out. /s

Edit: Here’s a Forgotten Weapons video to give the Biofire™️ some context/ credence:

Doesn’t that gun not engage the electronic firing mechanism if you don’t authenticate via fingerprint? Or am I thinking of a different one?

I’m going to do an edit and link a forgotten weapons video to give it credence. You’re correct. I still think someone could easily break the gun away from the holster (including a child), and eventually figure out a way to fire the gun.

Edit: Also, I’m a pro-arms advocate; I also believe in responsible storage and use.

I agree. That’s why there should be as many “complications”, as possible. The struggle is making an easily accessible gun, that isn’t accessible to others. It’s a puzzle.

On DoD approved safes the time to defeat it is listed. If you’re willing to make noise you can beat them in as little as 30m.
