Even if Singh were just in it for the pension (which I don’t believe), he has never shown an interest in dismantling public health care or building unnecessary additional highways, which makes him a better person than Ford. I wish Ford were just in it for the pension.
Pension is how the Fords refer to kickbacks.
Yeah, Ford wants Singh to know that, in no uncertain terms, he should be grifting his way to a fabulously wealthy retirement by lending political favours to developers and private healthcare companies, just like Mike Harris did.
Obligatory fuck ford - the irony of his corrupt ass calling anyone else greedy is almost funny - but more importantly why would this be a problem? The article says Singh denies the pension is a factor, but if he wanted to hold out a little longer to get the money that he’s earned then… good for him? They don’t even seem to be accusing him of prioritizing that over the public good or anything, just of wanting money that he *checks notes* worked for and would meet the criteria to claim? The ability to scoff at being paid for your political work is a red flag to me (might indicate corruption/generational wealth/etc), and they’re really out here acting like it’s a moral requirement for office.
Easy to say that when Pierre Poilievre got his at age 31 while not doing a thing for Canadians
lmao
DF’s the last person on this planet who’s justified to say that
I don’t know much about Doug Ford, but this sounds a lot like one of those “every accusation is a confession” situations.
You’re so greedy for not letting me steal your pension.
Ford accusing Singh of greed is pretty rich.
Honestly, his brain is smaller than I had previously thought. Who the F is electing this moron? Because I sure as heck didn’t.
Less than half the voters, that’s who
40.8% of the 43.5% that bothered to vote in 2022. So about 17.7% of the voters.
Twice.
God I completely forgot we even had that election.
