Awesome! Thanks so much!
Awesome! Thanks so much!
I have a boat load of stuff thru nginx. Using nginx-proxymanager. Dunno if I need to add any special parameters for Jellyfin. Tailscale Funnel is working fine for now.
If you could share your settings for your nginx setup, that might help me.
If and when Jellyfin “needs” revenue, 100% agree. But with that post they’re saying they’re not worried about it, unlike FUTO/Immich.
Hopefully one day Jellyfin will be big enough and stable enough to warrant that kind of funnel.
Right now, I use TailScale funnel for Jellyfin. For some reason nginx just bogs it down too heavily.
My biggest question to FUTO/Immich is if they’re worried about a revenue stream, why not do something similar to Home Assistant? You never have to pay HASS a dime and never see anything to “shame” you. All you get is essentially a forwarding subdomain with some “easier” ways of doing cloud related things. There’s zero “shaming” or calls to pay. I pay HASS/Nabu Casa monthly cause I’m lazy and it makes my life easier. FUTO should consider doing something similar.
Yes. Yes I have. It’s why I state 48kHz or higher due to the halving effect. 44.1kHz will only get you to 22kHz and 18Hz. Not a whole different than what ours can hear. 44.1kHz was the standard for CDs due to size limitations but we’re well beyond that now.
A pure analog recording can be superior to digital recordings. But those are so rare these days, we don’t have a good comparison.
There’s things like “bass bleed” and cross talk that made analog so interesting to listen to.
As long as the original recording is 48kHz or higher, digital recordings are awesome. We might not be able to hear beyond the 20Hz - 20kHz, you can most certainly feel it. Especially in the lower end.
My SO and I recently found out that Walmart (I see the Great Value brand) has actually become one of the more expensive places to buy goods from. We’ve done comparisons from Trader Joe’s, Fry’s, and Safeway. We’ve found that Walmart is the least value. Take what you will.
Can you share a screenshot of the error? (Block out any PI of course.) I run into this issue due to my DNS blocking things that Google uses for the integration. I take my cell phone off WiFi, run the integration steps and viola, it connect.
I don’t believe remote access is required but I pay the subscription cause lazy and want to help fund the project.
Heroic Games Launcher is great for GOG. I use it on all 3 to get my games running.
Eh, it’s just like Linux. Sometimes you just backup valuables. Scrap the whole thing and start from scratch again.
Personally, I’m loving the less YAML configs I have to do these days. Use to spends hours configuring it. I much prefer the click a button here and there and I’m done.
Getting old and lazy.
Job site got canceled, away from home, nothing else to do. Spent the last few hours cleaning up and “perfecting” my Home Assistant. I’m sure I’ll do it again in a few days.
Bro… That TV is over 7 years old, meant for health centers, and probably weighs 2 - 3 times the TV in OOP.
While yes, it is annoying, nothing modern has a center stand. https://www.google.com/search?q=tv with center stand
It’s definitely a cost cutting feature and you definitely can’t expect a $200 TV to have a weighted center stand these days.
100% agree with you. It's why I use Privacy.com and set a limit to what it can charge. Stuff gets more expensive without me noticing, welp. I gotta decide if it's worth it to keep paying.
(Sorry, sounds like a shill. It's just saved me multiple times in the past.)
It sounds like “drei” which means 3 in German. “Zwei” is 2 in German.
Fair enough. Text is hard to read sometimes. Cheers!
Cause they don’t already abuse the OT system?
Highly disagree that Z-Wave is dead. There are many companies, especially Zooz, coming out with new products all the time. Yes, ZigBee is far cheaper but I’ve had the worst reliability issues with ZigBee and moved everything to Z-Wave. Zero issues with connectivity or batteries dying too fast.
But that’s the beauty and strength of HA. Openess and selection.
