PICNIC. Problem in chair, not in computer.
Like Wallace and Gromit but instead of cheese it’s biscuits.

I also liked it. I enjoyed it more than the hobbit movies.
I know somebody who does this and accidentally racked up a £3,500 phone bill while on holiday. He was accidentally using the wrong SIM for data.
I have two phones. A personal one and one provided by my company. I like being able to turn off my work phone when on holiday, etc and keep my personal life separate.
I do know a lot of people who sold their personal phones when given a work phone and use it for both. Saves some money I guess but no thanks.
I also know people who have two phones but install all the work apps on their personal phones to make it easier for them. No thanks!
That was a really interesting video and made me look at myself a lot. Recently my doctor put me on medication for anxiety. I never realised how badly it was affecting me, and like this video explains, I was looking for reasons to explain to myself why I was feeling wrong which self perpetuated the feeling. The worse part is while I didn’t understand why, I did recognise that I need to stop focusing on the bad stuff but I couldn’t break out of the cycle.
I don’t know about personality and soul but it does appear to make it more relatable.
I have a Hewlett Packard PDA somewhere still along with some other old stuff I can’t figure out what to do with.
People do silly things. We have a department at work which pulls data from our ERP system to excel. They’re pulling 10’s of thousands of rows to return only a few bits of detail like product descriptions for a handful of items. I’ve offered to help them but they really don’t want help. They seem to be happy with this monster.
There’s another department which runs reports from our BI system, exports it to Excel, adds some calculations, then builds reports from that. They literally just need to ask the BI analyst to build them a report to their requirements.
I’m convinced people like screwing around in excel because it gives them something creative to do in an otherwise bland job.
He maintained the droids which maintained the machines. Working from home job.
Bees are great and wasps are very under recognised. Cross pollination, more varied than bees. They’re great at pest control. Not saying bees aren’t great, but we need more love for wasps.
Some roofs got ripped off a few months ago, t’was in the news. Forget where, want to say Manchester, but I could be wrong.
I can’t remember if mine is 32 or 35 litres. It’s a good size. Not too small and not too big, but big enough to shove a bit of shopping in. There have been a few times I needed a bigger one but it’s a decent trade off for practically.
We think my son might have autism and trying to engage with the school and health services for a bit of support. So far no luck. Anyway, because of this we’re learning a lot and I’m now starting to think perhaps I have a touch of it.
I didn’t know a backpack was a thing. I take mine everywhere. Last year I met a group of friends I haven’t seen in years in a pub and I took my bag. They asked why do I have a bag. “It’s got my stuff in it”. They did enjoy trying my flash lights (I sometimes take two in case one runs out. It never has because they’re regularly charged)
If they’re anything like me then the game is called Family and it’s on difficult mode.
I did similar a couple of year ago excluding the graphics card (kept my existing 1070). Spent about £1000 on a new setup for mostly gaming only to realise I hardly use it. Great PC, just wished I had time to use it more.
I used it for a short time when it first came out. I went back for another look recently. I haven’t a clue what is what. So much going on. I thought I don’t wish to spend the time learning something I probably will use a couple of times a week.
Is this what getting old feels like?
I’m not a Scouser and I hate the Sun.
I remember that sale and annoyed I didn’t buy one. At the time I thought I’d never use it. Fast forward a few years and I occasionally use Steam Link on a Raspberry Pi, so I would have used it. Oh well.
Ive had lag once using the Raspberry Pi variant and that was due to using a poor quality usb cable, it was under powering the unit. Aside from that it’s been surprisingly fast on ethernet and WiFi.
Sumfin. How’s how we say it.
