Is the dangerous to pedestrian stuff just because it’s a truck? It doesn’t seem like it has a particularly large front or terrible sight lines compared to other trucks. But most all trucks are really dangerous in that regard.
You’re usually not allowed to make the front out of hard materials or with sharp corners, at least in countries with safety rules (I realise this might not apply to their target region).
Also, I am no Tesla fan, and think Elon can go fuck himself, but most modern EVs have Pedestrian crash avoidance (PCAM). Should be standard on all new car by now, but will be shortly, at least in California.
