minus-squareColdWater@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·10 months agoEspecially some Chinese owned companies (Oppo, vivo even Xiaomi) they have their bootloader locked tighter than my ex, but if custom ROM and rooting is your priority Samsung Google or Sony is probably your best bet
Unfortunately not all phones can be rooted.
Drives me nuts. It’s MY hardware, dammit.
