If Canadians are insistent on voting in the Conservative in the next election, I wouldn’t mind if we at least permanently get rid of the Liberals.

While I have the same sentiment I think it’s best not to dwell to much on a person that’s been gone for more than a decade. I do feel like there’s some candidates in the NDP party that seem like they’d win the party a few more seats.

Your wish might be granted, the Ontario liberals got obliterated when Ford came into power and lost party status.

The numbers are not far away from a total party kill.

I really think the liberals need to look at the ebb and flow of politics and factor that into their decision making. Nobody goes 10 years in Canadian politics without every problem being pinned on them, and anyone closer to Trudeau (which is their entire leadership) is radioactive at this point.

That should have changed leadership in the 2021 election.

Is there much history the Bloc is for voting reform beyond the recent bill to looking into voting reform? I’m not entirely convinced they’re truly for it.

They have supported it for years compared to liberals waffling it on the vague promise of “electoral reform” which is really the alternative vote in sheep’s clothing.

A smaller party is much more likely to implement pr than one of the two established ones.

The only thing worse than constant polling updates is constant polling updates outside of election season that cannot be read due to a paywall.
