It was originally a Baptist church. It’s actually been converted into apartments now, but they wanted to keep the facade since that church has been there for ages.
I’m all for preserving old buildings, so very nice to see this.
But as a European living in a city with churches going back to the 13th century, I can’t help but laugh at a building from 1971 being referred to as “been here forever” 😅

I was born in 81, so anything older than that has “been there forever” to me lol
We do have some older churches around this area I’ll have to see if I can get some pictures of them next time
I knew it was Calvinist but couldn’t choose between the two so I took a stab. Thanks for the article
