this is a example search for example when i search [Something] lemmy it will show the reddit link even tho its not reddit releated Update: Finally its the second result lol am prob gonna delete this due to some drama… yeah hello from mastodon or whatever

    I don’t see the problem with this search result. You searched for Lemmy clients and the first link gives a list of Lemmy clients for Android. It happens to be on Reddit but it does match your search.

      it does match my search but its reddit and lemmy’s biggest competitor is reddit (the best i can describe it)

        Google doesn’t have any reason to think you care about competition based on your query. You asked for a specific bit of information and it showed you websites with that information.

        If you want a result from a specific website, you need to specify that in your search query. Otherwise, stop complaining about getting the answer you were looking for.

      The problem is why is reddit at the top it’s not lemmy which is lemmies competitor
