This poor laptop drive was serving me well as a jank storage pool on my Nas for almost 8 years now and today it died.

All data on my mobile devices is synced to a server, which replicates locally to 2 other storage devices, and is backed up to a cloud storage. I largely use Syncthing for mobile devices (even Windows laptops), so I’m always using a single tool/process (less confusion this way).

Well, you should be replicating /backing up data regularly anyway.
