I liked world most too. It has several things rise is lacking. One of which is a serious threat imo. Like, the first time my party ran into anjanath. It just exploded out of some shrubbery and most of his attacks were insta kill. Just having this random threat helped with the world building, suspense on hunts and also gave a clear milestone when you finally get the hunt to take him down. Then there was blood puppy or bazelgeuse, they are all super memorable because of how much of a passive sorta threat they were.

Had something similar happen with indiegala. Had an account with them for years, then one day, could not purchase some games randomly. Hit up their support and got the answer “Oh, the purchase was denied because your account’s email address is detected as a temporary email address”… The email address I’ve been using on that account… for years… Is temporary.

Surprised by how many words here I consider old. jorts? Jorts is a recent addition?

It kinda do though. VSCode, without a project open has 10 processes running and uses over a half gig of ram. I like VSCode to be clear. I also like discord but it’s just a chat app and apparently needs a half gig itself and 6 processes.

Some of the projects that pushed my own learning were very small things to help my school or work. When I was younger I had to do 100 FOIL equations and show my work. I did not want to do that all by hand and wrote a program to do it. If you got something super repetitive but not super hard, that would be a perfect project.

Yeah, I guess. It seems wasteful to need 8GB just to run an OS and browser especially after Microsoft was pushing server core specifically to go the opposite route with resource utilization on servers.

They are necessitating 8GB of RAM. for what?! Like, it would be a struggle to find a machine with less than 8GB still being sold new, sure, but why does the OS need that RAM?
