Yeah, they did a complete 180 and redeemed themselves with NMS, but no way in hell am I buying their next game on launch. There’s no telling what kind of game it will be, or what it may become.

I don’t know. Depending on where you live, that sounds about on the mark for what you bought. Groceries are getting expensive.
Or they might lock additional things behind the subscription, like PowerShell, or Windows Defender.
So far, clearing the cache seems to have resolved the issue. If I encounter it again, I will try this next.
I did try this and it did not make a difference.
iCloud Private Relay is disabled for my WiFi. Hide my IP address is enabled in Safari. I will trying clearing the cookies and see what happens. Thank you for the response.
Got it. I thought you meant 12-14 openings each, and I was arguing semantics to myself about what could possibly be considered "openings" to make the number that big.
Maybe it's because I haven't had coffee yet, but could you do the math for me? 12-14 doesn't seem right.
Intrusive thoughts can be a pretty broad term. You mean like you could turn the steering wheel and kill your whole family, or something really specific including when/where/method, etc. If it's the latter, I would seriously consider getting external medical assistance.
They already have a Windows “S” mode or whatever it’s called that does this. People will reject it, even casual users. I had one person ask me to turn off this mode to their kid could play Roblox. They just want to run apps, they don’t care how they work.
Honestly, there are some apps out there they need complete overhauls or to be completely replaced.
I’m of the opinion that MS will eventually get this right, but it won’t be called Windows 11 by the time it does. The redesign, efforts into command-line and WSL, they are moving in a positive direction, but the ads, bloat, spyware, needs to go. If they can release Win12 or whatever its called with the simplicity of Win11, have the features of Win10 (and finally put a nail in the old interfaces from XP and before), they could have another solid performer like Windows 7.
It reminded me of Arrested Development, but it definitely felt like a sketch.
Gabe has been a large proponent of avoiding the kind of consolidation that Microsoft is doing. He saw the writing on the way years ago when Valve released the Steam consoles. I don’t think (and certainly hope) that he wouldn’t sell.
At first read I thought you meant swap vehicles while traveling. With how auto manufacturers are moving towards subscription-based models, I wouldn’t be surprised if something like that becomes an option. $700/month hot-swappable Ford Fiesta EV’s. Drive one in, take another out, carry on your route.
Perfection
Could they have just used a stick to carry it then?
Palm Pre figured this shit out years ago.
