I wonder what the source of the RTS conventions was. Ctrl num for making groups. Double press to centre on group. X for scattering units. A to stop them. Pretty sure these predate C&C but the only one before that I can think of is dune.

Not exactly advanced, but I missed the super+P shortcut when switching from desk and monitor to sofa and TV. Made a couple of one line shell scripts that call Xrandr then bound them to keyboard shortcuts.
I love my mx570 but it is rf not bluetooth. The MX ergo is nice too, but that’s internal not aa batteries.
Enjoyed this one - impressive work, it really looks like a professional cabinet
if the music is older, and not from the US, it’s often not on spotify. Versions matter too - even for some mainstream bands their B sides/acoustic/live versions just aren’t on spotify or youtube. Album metadata for spotify is garbage too - it just isn’t an adequate replacement for a record collection.
I do use a spotify subscription, but for me it’s a tool for playlist generation and music discovery.
Also audio quality, as others have mentioned.
I’m glad I didn’t have to be the one to say it
I have custom firmware on my 3ds so it was as easy as installing the dumper cia and running it. Here’s the qr code I used from the github link to the cia.
Cheers
What’s the game in this screenshot? Looks familiar
I think a small linode is 12 bucks a month, and putting cloud flare in front it is free. Can add some s3 storage for a few more bucks too. They also have a free firewall you can use outside of the VMs.
I learned by using django cookie cutter and reading their compose, env, docker and start files. I guess there are easier ways than that though (YouTube, coursera, etc)
I uh. Don’t know how I thought this. But I just realised I thought the first windows was 3.11
Me too I guess. I can see it if I really try, but it seems a stretch.
That went from zero to a hundred real quick
Somebody might also have a case of mondayitis.
I had this argument with a boomer HR consultant and she just doubled down, even though I explained that neither I nor my colleagues, give two hoots about fussball or team building. Our position is a resounding “fuck you pay me” but oh no - boomer knows best.
Nhl offline. No idea why. I win almost every game. Sometimes it’s a close one. But it’s not easy on superstar. I just enjoy finding the angles. Good podcast game. But I am down on myself for ignoring the massive backlog.
Finally though, I snapped out of it and tried Hades for the second time and this time it stuck. Chasing those Heat skulls now.
Awesome - I didn’t know about the sequel. I did everything in the first one and the DLC. Loved the puzzles, writing and the Easter eggs. And mostly just the vibe. It’s a hauntingly beautiful world.
Best bit of the writing for me was the mash up misunderstandings of history. It reads like a language model had incomplete info and put several key historical events into the wrong order, and drew some nonsensical causal conclusions about them.
I absolutely fail to see the utility of having a user called Bob and bob, or a dir called Downloads and downloads. Capitalisation makes sense in code - at a glance I can know I’m looking at a Class or a var, but for system administration it has only ever wasted time, and not once made anything easier.
