I think they should improve their website download page, and have an easier installer before I can recommend it as a first distro to someone. But that’s just my opinion. Some people even get Arch as their first distro, so…

Unless the user is mostly searching for an emulation device. For that use case, android can prove to be quite decent.

Apple M1 and M2 chips are pretty great, so the “Mac tax” CAN be worth it to some. Also, having the option to install Linux on an Apple machine can prevent it from becoming useless because of planned obsolescence.
