It was a great fit … I bought it. Got a great deal in the end. Had great repoire with the salesman… every offer he made I took and still said I was sad about the whole situation. It got to the point where I was asking for another $1K off (he already took $1K off)… I said if you can do this I’ll sign today and youll have a long term customer, ended up getting $2k knocked off, some free accessories and first service free!

Last Saturday I put a deposit down on a motorbike… today I get the phone call to tell me they can’t get one… they offered a bigger bike for a cheaper price. I’m new to riding and think a 650 will be too much bike. Really dampened my day… anyways,.gonna go check it out tomorrow. Who knows, it might suit me better!

Times tables/multiplication tables. I learnt them when I was really young - I had pneumonia as a child and I would have my back massaged for a short while…during this, I would read thetimes tables… being able to do any multiplication like speech has been invaluable. Raising my own kids and working with them to learn them… with one knowing them well and two not so well and unwilling to learn them have now come into high school and working with fractions etc it is having a toll… times tables

Yes! I did this. I fell apart from my friend group when I married. I was a few years ahead of the others when committing…anyways, I focussed on work and building wealth to help with ease of living later on. I’d keep in contact with my friends loosely via Facebook. After about 9 years I noticed one friend had stopped wishing me happy birthday and Christmas which was just something we did. 3 years later of the same thing I reached out to other people to see if he was ok…got lots of dead ends, old stories of arguments he had had…found his sister that had kind of estranged herself from her family and married and changed her name and moved to the opposite coast. She passed my number onto him and told me he was doing ok. Later on, he reached out and we had a good chat and planned to meet up. This happened just after the first major wave of covid. We met for about 4 hours and he talked about himself the whole time. Not once asked me about me and my family, how I was doing… haven’t spoken since. Your mileage may vary
