Yes, there was the bourne sh on Unix but I don’t see how that’s relevant here. We’re talking about operating systems in use. Please explain the downvotes

There is no sh shell. /bin/sh is just a symlink to bash or dash or zsh etc.
But yes, the question is valid why it compiles specifically to bash and not something posix-compliant
Yes but git can be reasonable

Yes, the first flatpak is big cause you have to download the runtime (most common dependencies you will probably need anyways in the future). The majority of other flatpaks you will download will use the runtime you’ve already downloaded so those flatpaks will be lighter than the appimage variant
Didn’t appimage bundle all the dependencies inside it? That leads to way more taken disk space cuz of duplicate libs
Posted by Elon Musk. Hmm…
Do you want to maintain that?
Ssh uses systemd and systemd uses lzma (xz)

No it’s an unstable mess
Just wipe everything and select automatic partitioning
Hm, looks like I equated laser printers with ink ones. I have no experience with laser printers, so they may actually be a lot better. Still, the upfront cost of printer plus accessories is not worth it for me when I print so rarely
Good for you
Ok, when you also don’t have family which leaves the house more regularly than you, then yes, maybe you should buy a Brother™️ printer…
If your job is doing paperwork then it may also be a good investment
Don’t you have a printer at work where you drive anyways?
It’s also annoying to buy expensive ink, debug printer issues and have the printer take up space in your home. Guess it’s a matter of what annoys you more
Thanks
