No these are not basic features, most users don’t really care about it. You don’t think Apple does research? How can Apple have such an huge market share if those things are things that people are desperate for like you act? And no, I can’t take a full camera on my backpack trips, every ounce counts. Plenty of people shoot with their phone, don’t act like you don’t know this.
But people like you aren’t the ones making the “Android had this years ago” posts. Those are the problem. Nothing wrong with real criticism, keep it coming, but I am tired of that same comment without any substance.

Im a huge fan of the Warcraft rts games but you are right. Especially the first Warcraft felt like an ancient game compared to the first C&C, the controls were horrific (no right clicking on resources to send peons to it lol).

Sounds like he is giving up because of his illness/problems. I know I can be a grumpy asshole who doesn’t care about things sometimes, but I am like this when I feel really extremely bad, because of a mental thing I have. In that moment, it just looks like I will never be ok, and that there is no point in even trying to be positive. When a couple of days pass, and I feel normal again, I know I was wrong with being like that, and I feel shame for it too. But in those moments, it just feels like that. I’m not trying to say that it is ok for him to act like that, it’s not. It’s not fair for you and your mother. But maybe he is always like I am in my bad days, feeling like there is no point in anything. I see only two solutions to this: he either needs (more) mental help, or you need to distance yourself a bit more from him. I mean, not like for ever, but moving out on your own is a good start. You need to think of your own wellbeing too.

I was so lucky. I didn’t think I would be able to play it, still rocking a Pentium 3 700 mhz pre built pc with a ATI Rage 128 Pro. Then suddenly, just a few days before the release, my dad comes with a new pc: Pentium 4 3000 mhz, GeForce FX 5600 GT and a brand new 19 inch CRT Ilyama monitor. It played the shit out of Doom 3. Those were the days hehe.
OG Xbox is pretty easy to restore, would recommend that you do it soon. Some models have a battery that will leak. Also get thermal paste remover, the paste they used on the thing is more gum than paste. I could not remove it with alcohol or anything else, it was hell. Maybe also replace the fan with a more quiet fan. I had a lot of fun restoring it, really worth it!

You are right, but instead of blocking like half the user base I just unsubbed. I hope the mods will look in to this, it seems like a lot of people are bothered with this. Let the trolls and fanboys have this sub, there are better ways to follow tech news.
