All right I know a little bit about this so let me fact check it

Cats clean themselves so there’s no need to do it yourself, they hate water and getting them stuck in a shower with water running will just make them scared af of the bathroom (and you along the way). Their tongue is sharp to help remove dust and other stuff from their fur. Sometimes they do have things stuck like splinters where you might need to pull it out if the cat doesn’t do it but that’s about it.

I have never washed my cat and it’s been doing great for years.
