Do I spot the cover art to one of Geoxor’s songs?

Ich weiß nicht, ob das so eine Gute idee ist. Die Lemmy Entwickler haben das “endlose Content scrolling” absichtlich verhindert, damit so etwas nicht passiert. Ziel des Platforms ist ja nicht Leute süchtig zu machen, sondern eher einen sozialen Austausch auf einer freiwilligen Basis zu ermöglichen.

Meine Empfehlung ist einfach etwas anderes mit deiner neu gewonnen Zeit zu machen.

Edit: Hier sind die Positionen der Lemmy Entwickler vertreten, und es scheint als ob es bald eine opt-in Einstellung für infinite scrolling geben könnte.

Also lemmy.world hat ungefähr das 10-fache an Nutzern wie wir und können sich das auch schon finanziell leisten. Ich würde also schon sagen, dass es so hinkommt. Vor allem wenn ich mir [email protected] anschaue wunder ich mich nicht. In ein paar Monaten bräuchten sie bestimmt ein paar Terabyte Speicherplatz.

Ich weiß zwar selber nicht wo die nachricht liegt, aber ich kann es trotzdem bestätigen. Aber neulich sind ein paar Kosten wegen dem Speicherplatz Upgrade dazu gekommen. Es würde also wahrscheinlich eher um die 10-15€ pro Monat sein.

Videos auf Lemmy hochladen ist wegen Speicherplatz und mangelnder UI support grundsätzlich keine gute Idee. Versuch sonst ein anderes Format mit einem url zu benutzen (z.B. gif), oder du könntest auch einfach das Video verlinken.

Soweit ich weiß lag es daran, dass die Websockets entfernt wurden und das bisherige Captcha System darauf angewiesen war.

Looks good so far! I've never heard about Propaganda in the Information Age, The Reactionary Mind and Bowling Alone. I'll probably add them to my list though.

Maybe it would also be a good idea to add some shorter texts as a simple and introductory primer? Something that's only a few pages long. I know a few if you would like some suggestions.
