r/ProperAnimalNames is leaking, but you’re not wrong.
(Bc if Miles is going to suffer, he’s at least not going to do it alone:-P)
Ee’char has entered the chat cell implanted memory pattern buffer.
I mean, the original wasn’t funny either (and became notable because of how jarringly unfunny it was), so I guess that’s kinda the point.
Exactly my point: .io should never have existed because BIOT itself should never have existed.
I’m curious, are places like Hawai’i seeing similar movements?
Yes, but I don’t think it’s very large right now. IIRC it might be growing, though, because of how high real estate prices are squeezing native Hawaiians out of land ownership (and the program to allow them to reclaim land is, unsurprisingly, failing).
I’m not sure .io should even exist. Why would the Chagossians call themselves anything that would abbreviate to “IO” to begin with?
TIL Mario Paint wasn’t the only SNES game that supported the mouse.
Edit: holy shit there were a lot of them I didn’t know about!
(Maybe a bit later since I still watched Enrerprise…)
No, Enterprise firmly and definitely fits into category 2. It had a weird theme song and some people didn’t like how it shoehorned an extra ship named Enterprise into the list, but other than that it was Berman-era Trek, through and through.
Most appearances in general still belongs to Our Man Dorn.
Does the voice of the ship’s computer not count as an “appearance?”
In 2011, the Guinness Book of World Records recognized Bill Blair as the record holder in the category of “The Most Special Effect Make-Up Characters Portrayed in a Career” with 202 different characters.
Well that’s pretty neat!
That said, I’m not sure uncredited non-speaking roles are really comparable to guest-starring roles.
and you can totally train a voice synthesizing model on people who willingly donate their voices.
I’ll be honest: it isn’t very copyleft of me, but I want literally Majel Barrett.
Oh jeez, I really must be high! I don’t know what I was thinking; space whales would eat space plankton, not space jellyfish. It’s chelys galactica that would eat Farpoint cnidarians.
Now, which of these things is most plankton-like?
No, the space whales would eat Farpoint Stations, obviously. Crystalline Entities would be preyed upon by giant space otters.
On a related note, I am now imagining Crystalline Entities wearing hats.
Ironically, microcontrollers with wireless small enough to fit in an acorn are likely to be ESP32-based, which doesn’t use an ARM CPU.
All I know about it is “The Internet is for Porn.”
Exactly; fuck BSD too.
She’s got some Lauren vibes.
It’s worth noting that Apple has (for example) gone so far as to replace bash with zsh just because the GPL v3 was too copyleft for them to handle. In other words, fuck Apple.
It’s too “easy” for all the kiddos who tie their self-worth to their ability to follow installation instructions.
