I can’t tell you why, you are entirely correct. The EAC runtime used in Linux doesn’t have any kernel access, I misunderstood the context of the conversation when I made my first comment.
Lmao you can’t be real. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.
How exactly does one prove a negative? Juggling fallacies isn’t a good look, my friend.
Are you aware that EAC is indeed a kernel level anticheat? Apex 100% does not use a user space anticheat, it is kernel level.
You’re the goat! Thanks for sharing. I dropped a comment to the respawn employee and a comment on the EA thread linked in the reddit post.
Same thing happened to me, unfortunate for us…
I mean she did tell you to kick rocks, in so many words. No one wants to be friends with or even interact with someone they consider to be a stalker, let alone their stalker. She called you a stalker which implies she doesn’t want to be around you without saying so, many times people will avoid being so blunt about stuff like that for fear of retaliation. She was hoping you’d pick up on the hint that she doesn’t want to be friends without having to confront you about it directly.
I’m not passing any judgement, I think you were right it was a bit of a miscommunication on both ends; she wasn’t entirely clear and you missed the implications of her message.
I really appreciate that, it does sound like a lot of fun!
Any chance you might be able to give some highlights of what you consider significant differences between 5e and PF1/2 (your choice)? My only experience is 5e tabletop and BG3.
I think these comments do make good points, but I think you’re romanticizing the past a bit. Just because people didn’t have computers/cell phones I can assure you plenty of people in the 70s were “doing nothing” in similar ways.
I know reading is hard, but I'm not arguing that its a complicated task; merely that your familiarty with it does not at all reflect career prospects of a "computer geek."
Nah you're literally gatekeeping what it means to be a computer geek. maybe it's not gatekeeping per se, but you sure are wrong and look like an ass
Is this some kinda weird ass gatekeeping-esque computer geek thing? What you said is so wrong it's not even funny.
They certainly are in that less logical camp, that’s for sure. And you’re right, they have not and will not learn anything from this instance, or similar ones, going forward.
