"Fail early, fail often"
I feel like getting fed up with an Ender 3 is a rite of passage among this community that I am more than glad to skip :P
I have zero experience with other 3d printers. So far I'm pretty impressed
Ah, i see what you mean…
I looked it up and I swear there's already a beefy connector there, but I might have missed it. I'm not home now but I'll check again. Thanks for the tip!
Be careful, if we keep talking about triggers in a 3d printing forum the ATF is gonna show up
Let us all know the next time you upgrade so we know it’s coming then :P
It was 4 years between the original SE and the 12 mini, they released the 13 mini right away but I think that might have been because battery issues with the 12. Maybe the ghost of Steve Jobs begins to haunt Cupertino after a few years of Apple not releasing a smaller phone
I assume they will roll another one out in a few years, I think everyone who buys a small phone hangs on to it for a long time. Before I bought a 13 mini my previous phone was the original SE (also small) so obviously I’m not upgrading every year.
The more research I do that more I like the sv06.
What is a good example of a brand that has parts vs one that doesn’t?
Dont expect much support from creality,
I’ve been running Fedora Core on my laptops for years and my cell service is tracfone…support is for the weak :P
Don’t even get me started on the 4 contact points for balance/ leveling.
One feature I definitely want is auto-leveling. I hope it softens the learning curve at least a little bit.
This doesn’t seem like too big a deal.
what makes a sovol or elegoo better than creality? I just get so overwhelmed because they all look pretty much the same and seem to be priced the same too
if I have the z-offset correct for the first layer
How do you figure out the z-offset?

Have you cratered your tip recently? I was having lots of problems similar to yours that were solved when I put in a new tip
