I think Prime is up to $140 a year now. They used to promise 2 day delivery, but that is now 2 day shipping, and delays prior to shipment aren’t counted. We are not renewing when it comes up later this month. It’s no longer worth it.

Yelp has made this wall of shame incredibly hard to browse. It’s not sorted in any clear way, and there’s no way to sort or filter it. You have to keep clicking “load more” to get 15 at a time. They really do not want to help you find which businesses to avoid in your area.
I haven’t watched TV in many years so these are pretty old. Super disappointed they were canceled.

It’s not about the voting method. These people want to invalidate votes they don’t like. Arizona Republicans went on a wild goose chase of looking for bamboo fibers in printed ballots which would “prove” they were printed in China.
I got all excited when the cost of hard drives got down to $10/MB.
Over-50 tech-ish. In the brief time I was an IT manager I ordered Blackberries for some of the staff but didn’t use one myself. DVD recorder: not for TV but on the computer. No webtv, no 3d tv (I’m not much of a TV watcher anymore), no internet radio. With some programming help I recently set up a Pico W with a water sensor to monitor a water heater for flooding and ping my phone if it happens. That was pretty nifty.
We’re also in an area where same-day is possible, but I don’t mind waiting for stuff anymore. Typically there’s only been a few times a year I really need something today or tomorrow. I’m betting/hoping the charges for fast shipping when I need it will total less than $140.
