Another commenter mentioned this: https://www.bsicomputer.com/page/fieldgo-f7-portable-computer but I dont have one myself!
Luggables are a really cool concept, but their use cases are increasingly niche. It’s amazing what you can do with a computer the size of a power bank these days- but if you really need lots of processors, lots of specialized cards, lots of drives, or lots GPU or something (mobile), luggable is pretty cool.
Isn’t RCS an example of Google doing a Microsoft style Embrace, Extend, Extinguish? It was open until Google started fucking with it.
No that’s really not possible. I’d recommend tossing the similar ones after you pick the “best”.
Fallout 4 wasn’t bad, it was a lot of fun for a few playthroughs. You can make some valid arguments about steps backwards from new Vegas, but it did a lot of things well too.
It might- but you’d have to worry about the chemicals in the adhesive too.
Ps5 controller is Bluetooth, works for me without any special drivers. Has native support in some games for the haptic triggers and touch pad. It’s a fantastic general purpose unit. The Nintendo switch classic NES controllers are awesome for retro emulation too- also Bluetooth. They make NES/SNES/N64 variants- but really the ps5 will handle all those use cases and feel just fine for any modern gaming.
That’s about what they look like from the factory!
It’s just a PoC which is fine, it was a fun watch. Ever hear about using aws r53 as a “free” DynamoDB? Someone even did a PoC of that, fun times!
You can get gigabit over 5e, you don’t need super expensive cables. That said I ran cat 6 through my whole house and am able to fully saturate the bus, about 115 MBps (920 Mbps) which accounts for the TCP overhead. I haven’t tried 2/5/10G on it bull I’ll probably upgrade in a few years, I don’t expect to have much trouble getting good speeds. Your biggest issue was you might not have had all the cable pairs in your wire, or your cables ends might have been crusty, or you could have had bad kinks in the wire causing packet loss, or some real absolute trash quality wire. In general, 5e and 6 are plenty for most people/situations to get good speeds (1Gb+)
In our case cloud is fine, as long as it’s within our security boundary- so that means external SaS is out, but hosted within our cloud is fine. I’m still not super excited about the prospect of managing and maintaining it though :/ We’re going down this path because AWS is killing code commit and other pipeline stuff, which sucks because even though other tools are better, code commit was fedRamped and from the same vendor.
Yeah, looking forward to it!!!
I loved 1 - but 2 didn’t make any sense to me. Slapping 3D on it didn’t seem like something it needed, and it makes it a very different game. Plus, it’s not made by introversion - that’s where 95% of the humor and novel game mechanics came from.
Are you west coast? Somewhere else?
What a fucking knob
Jelly- mine is all electronics, home building, and plumbers. Oh yeah, and a bunch of standup comedy.
Haven’t played rebirth yet, but played original many times. IGN did a play through review vid: https://youtu.be/5jvBmusBMzo?si=O3qFNeb__PaF7sHl which makes it look both a lot like and very unique from the original at the same time. I dunno how many hours you put in so far, but it looks like there’s easily 35-100 hours worth of content, which is in line with the original. The video I linked makes it look fun, but I’ll reserve judgement until I get a chance to play it!
Mtg has such a punchable face, it just begs for fists.
They’re the same picture!
