However many VPNs deployed in mid to large work environments are not just a VPN but a whole endpoint client that is filtering web access, etc and logging everything.
I know most people here would know the difference but I guess unsurprisingly most don’t have a clue as they just call it “the VPN” even though its much more then that.
Also the same, been doing it for roughly a decade now. Outside of a once a year emergency I don’t start work until after lunch. I just say ‘I have other commitments in the morning’. I’ve had some PM’s push early in client engagements but it’s never escalated more then that. I just make the boundaries super clear and am always willing to walk away.

For Windows it absolutely is in order of listing however. Typical behaviour is no reply after a second against the primary DNS results in it moving down the list.
Redundancy aside, this is more important when you span multiple datacenters and always want lookups going to the completely local or most local DC available.

Me too, over 1400 hours. I use a lot of mods. I take a break for a year or more at a time and then get hooked again. I’m trying to wait for the NPC update until I do again
Especially factorio with mods. I play with bob and angels mod which massively increases the complexity. I use infinite ore as well because anything on a timeline stresses me. I have over 2000 hrs in it.

Yeah I thought the same. I played 1 from the very beginning up until release. When I heard about 2 I wasn’t even interested, it seemed to me it would be doomed from the start.
Yeah I didn’t find out until a close friend found out she was, and we had a lot of the same stuff in common. I started watching YouTube videos on it like “20 signs that you might be autistic” and I’d have 18 of them. When I started asking friends and family they were like “how did you figure it out?”.
The fact they already knew, and that in didn’t even know it ran in my family until I started asking was a mix of both relief and anger nobody said anything. I had been struggling my entire life needlesssly for a very long time.
I cannot think of any reason at this point to get a professional diagnosis, but I understand if someone else would want it.
Same for the mouse. My ratio is ridiculous as I just leave everything seeding. I also use a VPN that allows port forwarding even though its not a big deal in my country I still do it anyway.
