The skin is for mercenary - definitely my favorite character to play as! Excited to have some new stuff to unlock too. The artifacts seem pretty fun

Bought halo MCC for my brother, very excited to coop those campaigns. Very sad no split screen
Never has there been a company that I wanted to love so badly, but hate. I even proxy my pauper commander decks these days. In the magic world, so many bad decisions. 30 year anniversary cost $1k for non-legal cards. Power creep and complexity creep are frustrating. Huge inflation. Bad story. Bad quality cards. It could all be so much better, but they focus only on short term profit instead of the player experience
Brother and I are playing Ark Survival Evolved this week. Wanna actually beat the island finally
Ratchet and Clank Up your Arsenal. I recently beat a rift apart and loved it and I’ve never beat up your arsenal but started it a dozen times as a kid
Treasure hunting story driven action game with dinosaurs, zombies, and aliens
My toothpaste is getting low, I think I’ll try busts next!
Try a used laptop. Cheap, power efficient, built in UPS, small. Can be quite powerful and some are even upgradable
I’ve always thought I was mildly allergic to some brands of toothpaste, wonder if this was related.
My symptoms were sores in the corners of my mouth/gums - took a couple weeks before they’d show up and the only way to get them to go away was heavy rinsing with water after brushing (which is not recommended because of fluoride mineralization)
Switched to Tom’s toothpaste (with fluoride) a few years ago and have had 0 issues since
Yeah, there’s something called Emudeck, it makes setup super easy. Even comes with tools to add emulated games into your steam library to launch like a regular game.
There is this one funky caveat - the PlayStation and Switch games I emulate didn’t run very well, after some research I found out that lowering the CPU cores helps a ton. And it did, they run great for me now. To do that I had to install a Deck extension called Powertools - super easy to do because Emudeck came with a user interface to install plugins, Powertools included. Anyway, with Powertools you turn off this thing called SMT and then can lower the CPU cores. Some people think it’s actually a bug in emulation or Steam Deck drivers because using less cores shouldn’t have a big impact on performance so it may not be necessary in the future.
Tons of video examples on YouTube make the install and setup super easy. Highly reccomend setting emulation up, I’ve been playing through games I never finished as a kid and it’s been great. The convenience makes it awesome
We’re competative I suppose. Grew up playing and nothing ever replaced it. There’s probably other arcade games we’d enjoy but the closest we’ve come was the Tetris Effect - but we haven’t picked that up again for a while. Tricky is one of those games that has a huge skill difference between being good and actually practicing. It’s fun, a bit janky - maybe it’s just what we know. My brother has a couple high scores on my steam deck and writing this has inspired me to go spend some time trying to beat them lol
Still play SSX Tricky with my family via an emulator
I’m leaveling up all my familys’ favorite ssx tricky characters cause otherwise we all play as Moby when I visit (the only character I play as normally). Mac, Kaori, JP. Probably won’t be unlocking uber-boards on all of them, but we’ll see
You could pick up a used laptop for pretty cheap. Low TDP, leagues ahead of a Pi
Performed great! Played the whole game docked. Really hoping they port the other uncharted games to PC
Recently played Uncharted Legacy of the Thieves on my steam deck and loved it. Picked up the tomb raider games this week (on sale) in hopes that they have a similar feel (single player story adventure)
Linux people like security, it’s a security concern to give Nvidia’s proprietary drivers such low level access
If their calls violate GPL then I don’t even know why you’re being sarcastic. Not acceptable. Copyleft licenses HAVE to be respected legally. Silly to pretend like the license shouldn’t have to apply to Nvidia. If a user wants to install proprietary Nvidia drivers, they still can. But Linux isn’t picking a fight, GPL is what makes Linux Linux.
Love pop!_OS, Manjaro is a really cool and good fork of Arch that’s easy to install if rolling distributions are something you’re interested in
Last weekend I talked my wife into trying Linux on her desktop on an extra SSD I had, she loves it. Loves that she can customize everything, says it’s faster (especially boot time), we put it on her laptop last night
Probably gonna have a season pass and battle royale mode
