A project is never finished! :)
Nightcore’d stuff, when I need to get amped up to do something not interesting, stuff like apocalyptica for relaxing/wind down
I’m above 40 but below 45, i am shit at paperwork and composing an email takes half a day. each time I solve an issue the solution and more importantly the process I go through to get to the solution is shared, I don’t want to have to fix things more than twice and it is my job to share knowlege/train the new guys.
They don’t know that I don’t know shit and every problem is fixed with detailed troubleshooting not ‘knowing’ what the issue is.
In my office the only issue is admin stuff, time tracking, emails, case updates that sort of time sucking boring nonsense, found a way around, train the new guys, tell em’ contact me if you have problems, so now I fix their stuff and they do the emails/notes :D
I have to convince mangement I’m doing work every yearly review, so far so good!
Tech support, get that dopamine solving new problems everyday
All the previous jobs were in the vein of either huge risk (pizza delivery) or puzzle solving. Got quite disheartend doing anything less demanding.
Thought wesley snipes didn’t do a bad job either. and mother fuckers tryin’ ice skate uphill was goddamn excellent
Was that a terry pratchett reference?
Limitless! gonna rewatch that soon
Nah just couldn’t fecking sleep
Deltacortril, 8x5mg
Well, to expand, I had a cough for three weeks, just could not rest, took a break from work Monday, got steroids and a chat with my psych on Tuesday, so on Wednesday after two days of no ritalin/deep rest and a new pr resting heartbeat (I love health gameifaction) I decided to start back easy with half my normal dose of ritalin and my second max dose of steroids 8x5mg (I think)
It was a lot like that bradley cooper movie, no idea the name, “I can maintain” just got lots done, including dusting off my bike and going for a spin, https://sh.itjust.works/post/20050726
Anyway the rest of day was fine really, I just kinda lay there until 5 in the morning, getting more annoyed about how I’ve fucked up Thursday just because I couldn’t sleep.
I am probably just way overdoing the ritalin at 60mg a day, so 30mg+max adult dose of steroids after two days with no ritalin was stilk too much.
Nice, not suitable for this setup, they are more for 4wd crawlers.
The big scoopy sand type ones? I’ve no TPU and no sand, but we can fix that in the future!
Offroad racing will, mostly because you fall over a lot, then you gotta pick up the bike again, mostly I reccomend it for the like minded-ness of bike riders. if you’re interested don’t feel the need for fast bikes, flat out at 50mph with friends is the best.
As for building mass, plenty of stuff online, but it boils down to heavy weights, short reps (5 or so) do that set about 3 times, focus on shoulders, back and legs, eat a ridcously amount of protein.
A little model engine, early sidevalve type, guy has quite a few variations, but the second gen single now has proper cam timing. which I am unreasonably excited by.
Can only offer you three points, 1 nope sports really are boring, 2 you mention planking, I’m no gym dweller but if you need more muscle, planking is the opposite of what you need to do, lift heavy things, short reps, high protien diet. 3 motorcycle racing, specfically silly stuff like moped enduro, the amount of fun and helpful people you’ll meet in the pits is crazy.
I’ve read it, only thing I remember is the first chapter pizza delivery, gonna have to dig it out now and refresh myself of the rest of the story.
I have my 3kg spools above the printer as well, not having your issue, I think the difference is I’m using a guide pulley on a skate bearing to direct the filament straight into the extruder.
Remember how good you are in a crisis? Ancestors were in crisis mode quite a lot I reckon, no food, no shelter, big storm on the way, sabertooth hunting us, aight, time for a novel and inventive way to shove these pointy sticks ina big cat. dibs on the pelt/hide.
I live by “don’t put it down, put it away” but an important part is where, if you have a fork in your hand, you should think “if I need this next year where would I look?” obv’s in a cutlery drawer, but replace fork with car keys or documents…
