The Entwives went east to Hobbiton…
I’m in this meme and I don’t like it
The demo was fun. Apparently I’m a mediocre heartless monster.
I just had parent rage remembering how my oldest’s 1st grade teacher wanted to hold them back just because their handwriting was “awful”, and their 2nd grade teacher decided to put all the talkative kids away in their own section so they “wouldn’t disturb the good kids” because THEY ALL TALKED TO EACH OTHER! This was also the same teacher that wrote “did you even study?” on a second graders spelling test when they came home with a D (that particular week had been so hard).
Sorry for ranting, but this was prior to oldest being diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. Sometimes the teachers just see flaws and lable the ND kids as trouble makers or lazy instead of thinking they need extra help. Occupational therapy helped so much with their handwriting, medication and psychotherapy helped with the ADHD, and blue light filters helped with the dyslexia.
I’m sorry you went through all that as a child.
I am anemic and bruise easily. It’s a quick blood test, but it’s easily rectified if that’s the cause.
Same here, but within the past year or so we’ve had to reverse course so we can stay within our grocery budget.
A single mouse will feed on a bird several times its size. Conservationists snapped a photo of one perched on the bloodied head of a wandering albatross chick. […] He said the birds have not developed the defense mechanisms to protect themselves against these unfamiliar predators and often sit there while mice nibble away at them. Sometimes multiple mice swarm over a bird.
Holy crap. Renewed fear of mice activated. I hope their plan goes as well as they’re planning. There’s no good solution here.
I’ve played some of Cassette Beasts and I’m really enjoying it! It’s Pokemon + Bravely Default with some cassette retro futurism thrown in.
Some have the sizes denoted as letters on them. Mine had an S for Small. Others had Ms, Ls, and a few XLs.
Finally completed Little Inferno plus the DLC that apparently dropped last year(???!!!). I think it hit me harder than when I first played it years ago.
Too many 100 hidden [object] or Cats Hidden in [City] type games to count. None cost a whole lot, and I feel like I got my money’s worth.
I’m trying to go through my growing digital libraries and complete what I can. (But we all know the winter sale is coming soon…)
I know someone who had that. I remember their parents explaining how “red eye”, in photographs, meant a healthy eye and how their child had had a “green eye” which lead to the path of the initial diagnosis.
They are a healthy young adult now with a glass eye.
The Professor would be better cast as the guy Ruby Rod says is stone cold deaf, and who eventually rolls a billiards ball back to Bruce Willis’s character (I’m drawing a blank on names this morning).
If anything, Bender would make a better Ruby Rod and could cast Roberto as the flaming bad guy entity.
Hermes would make a good Zorg.
Alrighty, I’m thinking way too much into this. 😅 I’m stopping now.
Why not both?
Thanks for sharing! Downloading the demo now thanks to your post. Been so excited since I saw the announcement months ago. :):):)
Idk if it's my app or what, but the link to the original post takes me to yiff… I'm using Connect on Android.
If you have the time to spare, I’ve No More Fucks to Give by Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq is a great song that helps me sometimes.

Do you mean the Sound of Music instead of Gone with the Wind?
But, yes, doing something absurd to help with the spiraling really does help!
Brand new to Wave 3 and loving it so far. Still learning as I go, but gamifying walking is helping.
