Use it too much, and your friends will have cancer.
I fuck numbers.
Use it too much, and your friends will have cancer.
Then that’s actually against what was wanted. To get real certs, you have to open up the server to the internet.
Okay, I may be the stupid one here. But after a quick search, I don’t see an obvious way to generate self-signed certs using certbot. Even letsencrypt’s own website suggests using openssl.
To me, (and it seems for OP as well), installing snap on RHEL in itself is fucking things up.
Just say no if you don’t want to do something. I don’t understand why people think fucking shit up in the guise of helping is more acceptable than admitting that you can’t (or maybe just don’t want to) do something.
Thanks, I’ll check it out.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Where are you, if I may ask? Their Intel offers are not based in the US. Most of the time, I’ll access it from inside US, so I’m worried about the latency.
Saw both a total eclipse and Northern lights this year. Lived up to the hype. Totally worth it.
Without anything extra, there are three ways of doing it:
In each case, you’ll need a reverse proxy (e.g. Caddy) if you want secure https connections.
If you’re willing to spend money, the better way would be to proxy through a VPS (using something like a Wireguard tunnel). In that way, you won’t have to open ports on your home router. You can get a very cheap one since proxying doesn’t need much CPU power. Just choose one with enough bandwidth. I personally proxy most of my stuff through a $12/yr RackNerd VPS.
I use this userscript for that.
I usually keep most of the config. I just move them around to make it more comprehensive. The only time I made a huge change during a rewrite was when I learnt about treesitter textobjects.
EndeavourOS ftw imo
In any case, I end up wasting all that saved time on the semiannual rewrite of my neovim
config anyway.
I didn’t mean that I’d do it. Just that it takes energy to be able to deal with annoying people, even if you’re fucking with them.
I need your drive, man. I work at a university. People are mostly nice, but I still get annoyed with it.
I don’t buy that logic. How is it cross-platform? (It technically is, but c’mon. All of these OSs are in the walled garden.) I agree about RCS requiring Android, but that doesn’t really put it lower than iMessage, since that also requires you to buy a device. (iMessage does have more features, though.) Apple has promised to support RCS in iPhones, so this should soon change. Also, why would iMessage be rated higher than Signal using this logic? What’s easier, buying a device or installing an app on your existing device? (If someone doesn’t have any mobile device, I don’t think they really care about messaging anyway. So I don’t consider that as a proper prerequisite.)
Fun fact: Ghoti is a (sort of) derogatory term for people with ancestry from West Bengal (a state in India) used by people with ancestry from Bangladesh. (Sort of, because no one really considers it offensive. The modern use is usually limited to signifying cultural differences.)
