With the hype of Section 31, I really wish there was a continuation of DS9 like the documentary had. It seems so weird to me that a series that was hated had a critical part of it taken for the newer series.

I feel like if they initially didn’t try to force people to pay a subscription for a free service, Apple wouldn’t have closed the issue.
That being said, they fixed what was inarguably an exploit that could have led to scammers using Bluestacks to run iMessage spam campaigns. (These exist now, but would be amplified)
Oh no, my fake internet currency! What ever will I do?
Yes; I read that, too.
… Futurama has always been about pop culture references, this can be seen literally from the first season.
Honestly. And the same people complaining about e-waste are the same people who want an accessory to switch cables.
Kind of funny info: The Orville is what got me into Star Trek; back in 2017, I was very eager as a Seth MacFarlane fan for the new show. After the season 3 delay (Covid-19, Fox 'cancelling it' and moving it to Hulu, etc., while waiting, I started watching Star Trek, starting with TOS and then TNG and this year, DS9.
There are Orville comics that are canon, and a book written by Seth MacFarlane that is also canon :)
Installed all the OS’s RC (release candidates) today; all are very smooth but watchOS 10 (on an 1st generation Apple Watch SE).
I haven’t noticed anything odd with iOS 17, yet.
To add to the blog post, if you use user scripts, utilize your manager’s blacklist and learn REGEX.
If needed, use Group Policy, Regedit or .plists on macOS to blacklist domains to prevent an extension from running on them. As an example, I use Shutup.css to block comments online, but on something like Lemmy, I want to see comments as that’s primarily how content is created and adding it to my extension domain blacklist prevents the extension from running on the website or any lemmy domains.
Hot damn thanks for the new web comic I can follow! I found another one that is very relatable for us!

Task failed successfully.
You mean the cases that are almost always thrown out in court? You mean the cases where said sharks have to pay the defendant?
Unless the users themselves are directly posting links to the content and hosting it (the pirated content) on lemmy, no instance would be held liable. Anyone defending this has no idea what the fuck they are talking about.
There are tons of interviews, news, etc. and actors and actresses + show runners involved with DS9 talking about its unpopularity at the time.
