Like many others on here, my stock is now 0.6mm
I’ve also tried a 0.8mm which is amazing haha. Though it definitely has it’s limitations, so I usually just stick with 0.6mm

Oh yes! haha I often do the same with the 1mm type prints :)
Yeah, I’ve always been meaning to get that process tightened down Abit to minimize the number of iterations required. Though I haven’t figured out what that would entail lol.
Cool! Will do :)
I’ve always been meaning to try the photo thing - I’ve always just reverted to making some sketches on an ipad/paper, and taking as many measurements as I can, and then printing some test fits.
That’s good to hear!
Might be the push I needed to give it a go :)
Cool!
I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while, but was always worried about the water. I was thinking of getting some epoxy resin and coating it.
Haven’t done any printing in PLA (Only PETG and TPU) but is there a chance it’s due to your filament being too wet?
This. Checkout the Klipper documentation at https://www.klipper3d.org/Probe_Calibrate.html#calibrating-probe-z-offset
When I’ve had some filament lying out for a while, I usually start drying it atleast a day before.
I use the eSun Dryer as well, and usually start with a ~5 hour dry on Setting 3, and then another 3~5 hour dry right before I plan to print.
Seems to get the job done :)
Very interesting reading all the responses, as I am a rear pocket person. Hate the feeling of having things against my thighs when I move.
Though having it in my back pockets does mean I take them out everytime I sit down.
I’ve been using textured PEI sheets on the bed, and apart from where I had completely wrong first layers or parts with very little bed contact, adhesion has been great.
Haha omg is that the basic premise of it. Amazing
Admittedly I’ve kept out of the loop on this whole Musk Twitter fiasco. Could anyone ELI5 why Musk is trying to tank Twitter?
Other people have said the same, but Apollo was my most used App on my phone.
I find that during the day, I mainly browse Reddit on my phone, as I can’t stand not having RES on my work laptop. I’ll have to see what sort of adjustments I’ll have to make, as I was looking at using both Reddit (via browser on my laptop) and Lemmy (via wefwef on my phone) whilst the lemmy community gains a bit more traction.
Same here in New Zealand. Had them around for a while but never heard about flexible prices like this (other than items on sale of course)
