The problem I had with no man’s sky is that a large amount of the out of proportion expectations were a direct result of the developers over promising, rather than consumers just being over hyped.

I live in Wales, lil’ country next to England.
For some extra context — there is a little family run café down the road from me, that will give you a full English Breakfast for very close to that price.
I’m assuming we’re referencing the absurd price of it? I wouldn’t be caught dead paying that much for a slice of pizza and a drink.
I believe that has some relevance to the story but honestly I haven’t tried that one.
I’ll throw my hat in the ring and say - the newer Wolfenstein series.
Incredible story, Incredible gameplay with choices that matter, and a lot of content to occupy your time across the like 3-4 games.
Appreciate the info.
People that have played this – Are you enjoying it? Would it be okay for me to jump in and play this new one and not miss anything story wise, provided I’ve never played any of the others? Or should I be looking to at least look to learn the story so far with the other games before attempting to play this new one?
Thanks in advance!
I can’t say I have, I’ll put it on my reading list.
Appreciate it, just glad I could explain my view point.
I’m conscious of the rules in this community, so I won’t post it here but if you look in my profile you’ll see my work, thank you though, for enquiring – means a lot.
I can’t speak for everyone else, but I wrote about this exact thing recently (Rainbow Washing & False support of Pride by Corporations/Politicians for financial gain etc)
I absolutely scrutinise all the other forms of corporate ass-holery too. The only difference, that I feel anyhow, is it’s considerably easier to point out the stark contrast between certain corporate actions during pride month, and their actions outside of pride month. It’s a unique situation where we haven’t been experiencing this for so long that it’s simply business as usual.
For me, it’s not a question of hating pride and using this as a means to push through hateful rhetoric – It’s definitely just a case of tackling one thing at a time. Though I absolutely will concede that you’re more than likely correct in your assumption that social conservatives will attempt to hinder the pride movement by wrapping up their bullshit rhetoric and policy in social justice.
To add to the above, there is also an absolutely massive modding scene for Ark, that can add anything from hundreds of new dinosaurs, to NPC’s, to new structures and mechanics.
A lot of fun to be had with Ark, doubly so if you can convince some friends to give it a go with you.
WoW (Private Servers)
GW2 (Personal fave out of these)
FFXIV
ESO
I also hear New World has vastly improved since launch but I’ve not played it since beta so I can’t really say.
You know it’s bad when the almost constantly unhinged ‘Empress’ is the one speaking sense.
Nor was she driving.
What’s the significance of this? Is it mildly less frowned upon to be horrifically racist if you’re driving?
I’m inclined to agree with others here in the thread. I honestly don’t think this was an intentional action designed to tank Twitter. It may well be doing just that, but frankly, Elon has proven time and again that he’s a world-class idiot.
I’m unsure if this is satire.
This is definitely the way. There is something to be said about people’s need or desire for validation via upvotes, but as others have mentioned here, it’s super refreshing being able to interact with content hours after it was posted and not being drowned out.
MFW things that should be basic fucking human rights are now considered ‘Comfort Breaks’
Can confirm the Game pass part.
