This doesn’t really explain anything. Not least why I should use it.

I like FreeCAD. I know some people hate it, but I find the requirement to do things carefully and properly to avoid horrible errors later on really focusses my mind on what I’m designing. I end up with something that is probably better designed than if I could just lash something together and let the software sort out the mess.

FreeCAD can be a right pain in the arse and things can blow up spectacularly, but it does force you to use discipline in your designing. It’s a great tool if you are careful and don’t cut corners. Other than with the mitre tool, ho ho.

The bed of that stupid thing is about twice as high as the useful one, so you have to lift the cargo twice as high.

Just sums up our dumb fucking species.

Israel could always stop chucking bombs at civilians, then they wouldn’t need aid.

It’s worth noting that the version number of FreeCAD is 0.21 so it’s still very much a work in progress. It has a solid base of a very powerful 3d engine and is the bare bones of a CAD system that is usable now and will only get better.

Those drawings are beautiful. I wish I could draw like that.

You are just picking an arbitrary set of characteristics and calling it “race”. Nature has no concept of race because we are all genetically different and there is no line that one crosses from being one race to another. Race is purely a human construct, and a very unhelpful one, as it is just another way to divide us.

There’s genetic differences between you and everyone else in your family. Are you a different race to them?

This is 100% good news. It’s easy to get caught up in the gloom of knowing that the amount of deforested land is still increasing, but it’s good to focus on the positives. It’s easy to get depressed about what is happening to the world, and that helps no-one. This is good news - we should applaud it and feel slightly happier.
