On paper they don’t make anything a year and pay less tax than you or I. The only way that’s going to change is a massive world-wide effort to crack down on tax havens and to start taxing their assets fully.
If I’m posting I’m probably high so don’t hate on me

They can keep their walled garden and shove it up their ass.
For iOS.
Shame I’ll never use it then sadly.
I finally stopped using it entirely when they started paywalling the answers. I don’t know if you had to actually pay or just sign up to view them but whatever it was went too far for me. Nothing of real value was honesty lost from my existence either.
That happened in 2012 and a lot has changed with Linus since then.
When I used to work a lot with Python the packaging solutions available were the bane of my existence. I hope they’ve gotten better by now…
They always have and we don’t really get a choice in the matter. The reason why you’re noticing it increasing particularly online is because there was a time not too long ago that it didn’t have any of the bullshit and in some ways they’re still figuring it out.
Even if you weren’t working in infinites, I bet the monkeys would eventually figure out that they can hold out for more banannas if we want them to keep typing.
The average person in this situation though I’d have less faith in. Instead, they’ll rally around their master and beat the other humans for not typing at the same pace as them.
Thanks to capitalism somebody else already owns those diamonds anyway.
Newbies should be taught to review what they install beforehand on the AUR which almost anyone can contribute to with minimal barriers. Most users treat it like any other package repository but its not the same thing and it’s definitely more risky then a curated repository.
Fedora tends to include a lot of the latest tech in a stable working configuration, stuff like Wayland and GNOME in the past and more. I like that I can get that while still enjoying a nice curated set of package repositories and without relying on something like the AUR for most packages. I’m happy to let others do the testing on the absolute bleeding edge and take the risks while I get to enjoy the fruits of that with a lot less pain with Fedora.
Best distro imo right now for desktop. Fedora a close second.
Others like Arch are great too but more for enthusiasts.
Mine are from PTSD so what exactly is mine preparing for?
Thanks military btw.
Okay then show the ads to the majority of people who accept them by not running any blockers and leave me alone.

It’s a good game though, but needed more time in the oven.
It’s a good game that was pushed out far too early by suits. There’s a lot of room for basic optimization to be done for one and it should never have been released without it.
Wikipedia isn’t some magical concensus platform, it’s just a website with admins and power users like anything else. I wouldn’t take Lemmy or Reddit at face value and you shouldn’t take Wikipedia at face value either for the same reasons. It’s not neutral at all and feelings, biases and personal beliefs are all over the website because the people with power keep it that way.
I think you might be a little confused friend.
The right-wing troll posters have gotten bolder and more prominent in subs I used to visit that’s for sure. They used to get heavily downvoted and people used to rebut their garbage, but much less so now.
Taxing profits is a good idea but they’ll figure out some creative accounting to avoid making them.
I think we just need to straight up take ownership of a portion their shares that increases based on how little tax they are paying.
