Perhaps “you’re right”, “you’re wrong and also short, here’s why”, or even “I don’t know”. These would all be things you could tell them and a better response.

Not to mention, if we have the technology to construct human bodies and minds on the other side of that teleporter, what is to stop them from modifying the machines to change your brain (or body). I have lost any trust I once had in any government or company to believe them if, hypothetically, they tell me they have the know-how to change my opinion of Coca Cola upon reconstruction.

Anecdotally, I feel like there is some survivorship bias going on here. I’ve seen plenty of complaints about Bethesda bugs over the years, but people that are truly bothered by it (me!) have sworn off all their games and thus have no reason to talk about them anymore. The only ones left playing are those that still have some enjoyment/respect for Bethesda games. Cyberpunk felt like more of a “mainstream” hit so it makes sense there was more backlash.

I read a bunch of threads on this and there were a lot of questions about this… so yes, it was a question to many people.

Technically Discord is trying to solve this with their threads feature, but I’ve found either the server owners don’t force it or the users don’t use it. Either way, it sucks.

I loaded up a download page on a work computer recently, forgetting it didn’t have adblock. My god the amount of ads was insane. There were literally about 20 ads surrounding the content with varying styles and I could actually not figure out at a glance what was the main content. I don’t understand how anyone uses the internet raw anymore.

I don’t use invidious much, but this seems easy to use and friendly! Much better than the default from a new user perspective. My only complaint is please use a dropdown or radio select for the quality instead of a slider, using the slider input makes me feel dirty.

If Rockstar made a fully-fledged open world Crazy Taxi game with the scale and quality of Red Dead or GTA, that is quite indisputably deserving of the “triple A” label. Putting aside where you draw the line for it to be considered AAA, they clearly mean that their goal is an AAA experience. It’s not that deep.

Unfortunately I’ve yet to find a pair of earbuds that doesn’t fall out or hurt my ears (or both), Either my ears are shaped differently than the average or I have to spend more to find the right pair. I would use headphones instead, but they’re hard to lug around and most work days I interact with customers so it’s a no-go.

Article and trend aside, I actually do miss landlines… I have to do the “boomer” thing of talking on speaker phone with my phone out in front of me because no matter what I do putting my flat cellphone up to my ear is just impossible to hear and exceedingly uncomfortable. I miss the ergonomics of a real phone.

Fair enough, I don’t watch their sponsored videos and am not going to to check this, so I can’t comment on how misleading they are. I just don’t like how many they do of those and how hard it is to tell them apart from the regular content/reviews. That said, I’ve never seen it affect their videos or opinions outside of the sponsor spot. Linus will still say whatever he wants in other videos, especially on WAN, and if there is an issue with a company then they cease sponsors with them. They’ve demonstrated that with Anker and their Eufy products.

I was primarily confused in your original comment because you mentioned watercooling a room. They still do big/stupid projects like this, such as Linus watercooling via his pool, it’s just hard to find amongst the filler garbage. You also mentioned dunking on companies, which he still does when they do stupid shit, though rarely via a dedicated video.
