This totally isn’t what you’re asking for, but I absolutely love the 8bitdo adapter 2 thing (https://www.8bitdo.com/usb-wireless-adapter-2/) pair your DS4 controller to it and then just plug in the dongle. I haven’t found anything it doesn’t work on, but mainly I pop it between a pi3, pi400, and my LMDE desktop.
So handy.

All those examples have the company (the ISP in this case) choosing to hire someone, this would be more similar to:
If someone rents a hotel room, and then gets busted by the police for prostitution, is the hotel liable?
90 days is standard for “you’re code is fucked when someone presses this…”; if the issue is Dave left the keys in the parking lot and someone copied them, two weeks is more than enough time for them to recieve the notice, create a ticket to rotate the keys and a ticket to trigger an investigation (gotta document anytime an org fucks up so it doesn’t happen again, right?). Maybe I’m over simplifying it though, I don’t know how their org operates.
I don’t disagree they are their games, but is it their emulator, or did they just download one of the many online? Really doesn’t matter, just love to see companies bitch about something, then turn around and do it themselves.

Yeah, my son convinced me to try having one monitor vertical. His (Windows 10) is close to right, but dragging a window across the gap and you have 2 different size windows. Compared to my computer (LMDE) and it is truly scaled correctly, the window is the same size on any monitor and while travelling between them.
Still not sure how I feel about a vertical monitor though, it’s great for documentation but just feels so unnatural.
They’d just be looking at the palm rest for me. Laptop is closed and under the monitor stand, having it open just makes Window’s show how well it does desktop scaling.
Its painful sometimes, but good to know I’m not the only one questioning my sanity.
I hated yaml with every fiber of my being when first had to use it, but I really wanted to use HomeAssistant and see what I could do with it. I hated it a bit less when I started using docker compose. I started loving it when I started using it as a way to explain json to non-programming IT types, trying to explain it without braces and brackets seems to get across easier. I guess its more human readable, but as a result formatting has to be spot on (those indents and spaces replace the need for brackets and braces).
One useful trick if you truly hate it but need it, write it in json, then just use a converter to change that into yaml.
I’m with the whole ‘metric is better crowd’, I mean base 10, c’mon that makes shit easy. On the other hand, I prefer Fahrenheit for temp 100%, Celsius is just not good for it (personal preference I guess). A lot of that is probably due to growing up in the USA, but having lived in a few other countries I just prefer Fahrenheit.

I’m with you. While I’ve never been diagnosed as autistic, I do not pick up on social cue’s ever. It’s hard to explain how much better the world would seem (to me, at least) if people would just say what they mean. While being too forward could be misinterpreted as being rude, there is no room to miss a secret message when being direct.
Just wanted to say thanks for some awesome software! I want to say I use it for centralizing my bookmarks across devices, but if I’m being honest it’s main use has been bookmarking Microsoft Learn articles. It’s insanely useful being able to save an article, add tags, then when MS changes their docs, I can prove to myself that it really was different last week.

I host way more than I probably should, but everyone should have some stuff like immich, vaultwarden, and nextcloud. I also like to host gitea and 30+ other things (check out netboot.xyz, it isn’t something everyone needs but why wouldn’t you want to be able to boot off the network), but that’s just what some people do as a hobby I guess lol.
Someone tried to send me a picture they took and it looked like hot garbage until they sent it over email. Not because it couldn’t be sent without feeding it through a potato first, because Apple wants a worse experience for anyone not in their ecosystem.
When they are the oddball in the group though, it just makes iPhone’s look like a worse option.
