tbf that is the exact image I have of whoever made the original gnu+linux post without the alpine comeback
outer worlds was basically a non bethesda 3d fallout game that wasn’t fallout, seemingly largely inspired by firefly in regards to the cast of characters and some aspects of the plot. you even randomly have your ship’s cargo hold filled with cows like the opening sequence of lne episode of firefly.
outer wilds is on my backlog and I know nothing apart from being told to play it repeatedly.
Many solid deals after doom scrolling the pages.
edit: actually im not even half way and I feel like every notable old game ever is on there at a huge discount, with some I am suspicious of with only the title to go off filling the space, except there is no space and its just packed. I need to sleep but I keep scrolling.
The witness 80% off working out to 10.89 irks me. significantly better games with more content are like 6 bucks. I guess when there are no achievements hinting at something being missed, you aren’t compelled to find and do the most bullshit timed challenge in any game I can remember, which increases its value… ?
disclaimer: I enjoyed the first 15-30 minutes or so of the witness then suffered through the slog of completing every last thing. Even my autistic friends that unintentionally did 100% speedruns didn’t like it which gave me the echo chamber I had desired the whole time playing.
surely the cbt I’m thinking of must be wrong…
wait are there still webcams that don’t work? I’ve never used them apart from whatever was recommended for 3d printer monitoring and they worked fine.
that’s good to hear. all of the existing ones are already in my backlog for if things at work ever go as planned ever again. I own #2 and can play the rest via family share… ‘family’
are the games from this studio any good? I only played the original which was a different one i think.
I had an nvidia card in my possession briefly recently. when I was testing it I found distros that have a separate nvidia installer image are the way to go if you dont want to have a shit time. Converting a standard image post install is about as much of a shit task as it was back when I had a gtx 460. once its set up either way it seems mostly fine but I already had a more recent amd card and don’t want to deal with the kernel module crap. dkms has failed me a few times in the old days and I never forgave it.
don’t forget that black couple in real life that had a white, blonde, blue eyed baby
but how do I fix it, explained in dum dum level english?
one of the disney star wars movies the main character goes looking for luke skywalker or something. it was one of the few scenes that wasnt a sweaty shirtless guy. it was a somewhat decent but largwly forgettable movie
These were in several of the trades buildings in my post secondary. often stocked with fast orange and sunlight industrial.
Good call. Imagine a studio that simul releases with much more well known competititon, twice.
I got 32 just so I could hoard more browser tabs. I have a more minimal setup on my laptop that goes with me places and any tabs I anticipate not needing for a couple weeks or more go to the desktop with more ram.
I regularly wear socks and sandals along with shorts and a sweater.
There was also a time I went to lunch with that plus a lab coat and hairnet.
Its probably more the things like when you happen to update in one of those times where the package manager has nvidia modules built for a different kernel version than what you just updated to. Sure you can use dkms but its often not the default, and not everyone can figure out what to do when they reboot and it hangs before reaching desktop. I know someone who decided they hated Linux in general after this.
Probably these days a new user wanting mainly Linux gaming with minimal tinkering could just use something like the bazzite nvidia image and never have any issues and if the open source driver ever reaches parity with the proprietary one it will probably just be swapped in and work in an update. Other distros as long as the maintainers aren’t dumbfucks it should also be fine. In the early days of nvidia on linux Ubuntu fucked me up the ass a few times before I learned about using dkms for nvidia drivers or dkms at all really.
Hell yeah. I’ll have my own kitchen and dishwasher again in a couple months for the first time in a couple years.
The layout differing from a typical piano bugs me though.
