Not really. They asserted a thing, to which you, I think, mostly agreed with them, but in an obtuse way. Within your own comment, how would “spreading harmful opinions” not be hurting someone? Where does the harm come from?
It really just comes of as the OP giving a fairly reasonable statment about JKR probably not looking at jail time, and how they think she is probably cynically using that for clout. Then you come in saying you believe it isn’t that for niche not-really-addressing-their-point reasons, which is proving them wrong on the level of say sunglasses emoji, gottem.
I once saw a truck that had a “don’t tread on me” decal, but the 2nd t had peeled off so it said “don’t read on me”

I hate to be the one to say this, I love metroid and much prefer the giant buff samus depiction you linked to ZSS; but imo the games that really brought on the ‘waifuization’ of samus are echoes and zero mission, and they came out in 2004. That’s 20 years ago, they’re closer to NES Metroid (1986) than now.

I’ve played the rom multiworld randomizer and like it a lot! I guess my longshot hope, and I don’t know if it would be feasible even from the decomp, is a single-world entrance randomizer with similar items merged, and the ability to use OoT items in MM and vice versa.
Does anyone know if there is a an open project to make more closely integated combined randomizers for OoT and Majora’s Mask from the decompiled versions?

I think the simple answer to why Andor, is that he is the type of character Tony Gilroy wanted to write about. His being situated in the star wars universe is mostly unimportant, aside from being an avenue to get disney funding. Andor could easily be sci-fi unrelated to Star Wars at all, there are some misc easter eggs and the Empire exists, but it’d be super easy to file the serial numbers off, and change some of the aesthetics and names.
Andor isn’t significant to “skywalker saga” Star Wars, he’s just some dude who is pretty competent who starts as a self interested disaffected lowlife dude, and who becomes radicalized to join the nascent rebel alliance. It’s just a good story, and I’m glad Tony Gilroy was able to get disney bux to fund it. Its easily the best Star Wars that Disney has made, maybe that anyone has made if I take off my rose-tinted glasses. It’s honestly kind of surprising to me that the script got past disney, given how they’ve gone about Star Wars.
This is basically my starwars story too, though I skipped book of boba fett, and watched obi wan. Obi wan was a huge miss for me, felt like it was 3 times longer than it really had the juice for.
All that said, I loved Andor and am excited for season 2, though I have basically no interest in any future Star Wars beyond it.
What is your top 10 that doesn’t have zelda then?
Harry potter and bethesda both have built in fanbases despite not being that relevant for the last decade-ish. I’m not very surprised they were able to make 7 and 8 on a top 50 list.

I think they have to get to the point where they mightbplay a video game on their own before stardew valley would land for them. They weren’t particularly inspired by the trailers.
I dunno that nidhogg would be a good game for us together, but it looks up my alley to play solo sometime.

Audiosurf is a blast from the past! That was one of the early games I played a lot of on steam, it might be a good low stakes option sometime.
I have a Wii U in storage at my parent’s house, I might see about us checking some games out when we visit for the holidays in a couple weeks. I don’t want to overwhelm them too much though.
