Since they are probably working on other stuff as well could this mean that Icefrog is the only lead who can take a project to completion reliably within Valve’s organizational structure?

Inject this hopium into my veins.
They could just be one moba, one hero shooter and one last man standing, all online and all competitive.
Well, I guess your are right that everything is derivative. I also think some things are more alike than others and also some markets are more saturated than others. When Half-Life came out it was in a saturated market of FPSs but it also revolutionized the market. When Portal came out no one could compare it to anything other that a student project. Half-Life Alyx is still considered the no 1 most polished and complete game in the VR space. We’ll see the impact that Deadlock will have I guess.
I percieve them as different to your run of the mill EA or Ubisoft, so I expect more from them. That’s on me I guess. I’m not angry though, just disappointed.
The point stands that it’s derivative. I’m convinced Valve can do better.
Kagi has all these options as well but everything can be disabled in the settings.
The woman is also a badass in her own way and people memed on how cool she moved as well.
It used to be done a lot more before and some places still do it in Europe. You return the glass bottle intact, they reuse it as is. Only carbon spent is in transporting it.
There’s something special about a game like red dead 2 or ghost of tsushima that makes you stop and just enjoy the scenery. Games with good graphics have their place, it’s just that they need to also have all the other elements to be any good.
Pretty much all of Europe lists wood in exact size of the cut that you get. It sounds highly illegal to call it a 5x5cm piece of wood and sell some other random smaller size.
Why does the mx ergo need software running? I’ve had it for two years with nothing installed and it works perfectly.
Thanos literally had the power to will any resource and reality into existence and he chose to destroy. Let’s call it good intention, but idiotic and psychotic solution.
But that’s what made him a good villan.
Exactly. It’s an easy fix. I haven’t had a mouse break in the last 10 years. The coatings start falling off before the clicks are a problem any more.
The cap doesn’t stay where you put it, usually is still a bit wet from the liquid and that drips on your face when you take a sip. If you have facial hair, you have to navigate your way around the cap as well.
I’m not against the idea in principle, but the implementations have ranged from mildly irritating to unusable for me.
This is on me for sure that I’ve never seen anyone be faster using a CLI compared to a GUI especially for basic operations which is what most of us do 95% of the time. I know there are specific cases where a command just does it better/easier but for me that’s not the case for everyday stuff.
I know I’m going to get down voted for this but this would be almost impossible to fuck up with a gui. Yet people insist that writing commands manually is superior. I’m sorry for your loss.
This guy has been wearing that outfit for 20 years. Fuck off with this bullshit.
Support for HDR, variable refresh rate, direct draw and battery improvements sound like a very good list to have, other than the overall leaner build. You personally not caring about it doesn’t change the fact that it’s good to not stagnate when it comes to things like this.
I’m sorry for you. But you can be the change you want to see. Break the cycle.
I grew up and decided that games have a place in my life to give experiences, you grew up and decided that they are a source of burst distractions. I guess age has nothing to do with it and it’s just about personal preference.
