That’s wonderful. Happy for you!
Oh yeah.
Super deceptive stuff. I voted against it. Hopefully everyone will.
Outside state-level things, it really doesn’t.
Although, here in Missouri, an abortion ban, a $15 minimum wage, and a Republican candidate for governor who would refuse to implement both if passed are all on the ballot, so yes, GTFO and vote.
I didn’t know it was already out.
Time to go spend $60. Huzzah!
I’m happy for you!
That’s shitty. I’m sorry to hear it.
Thanks for the tip.
It’s wild.
There are some local and state governments trying to pass automatic voter registration, but it’s an uphill battle, not unlike most things that would generally benefit the public good in this country.
I can’t wait to get my new laptop in November. I’m going to make my old one a Linux-only machine for all non-gaming purposes, and 100% going back to Mint.
Not a Texan, but here in Missouri, you can request your absentee ballot as early as 9/24 this year.
I requested mine, waited two weeks, and it never arrived. So last week I requested another, and I’m waiting for it. I do think there’s some fuckery afoot with the mail, so I’m probably going to be stuck voting absentee in-person at my local election board.
It made me smile when I saw it this morning.
That’s so cool.
I played the hell out of this game in the 90’s, and then again when they re-released it. How fun is it to actually have to sneak into town and complete a stealth mission when your pirate’s got a high level of notoriety?
MASSIVELY infuriating.
I’d say it’s ironic, but given their history, it’s really not.
It wasn’t that long ago that Donald Trump ordered mail drops removed, and Louis DeJoy ordered post offices shut down, and sorting machines removed from USPS distribution centers.
That was objectively the biggest voter fraud ever committed.
I gave one example above, but the short answer is, people have tried to find it and haven’t succeeded.
Like Bigfoot.
I intend to.
Agreed. I can’t see undocumented people risking their lives trying to vote.
You’re right. They’re trying to gin up the specter of voter fraud in case they lose. No one voting Republican needs proof anyway.
I added ‘Missouri’ to the title to make clearer. Solid point.
