(Setting up a private small group and sharing the burden of cost sounds even better. In that case there would be 5-15 people with limited/closed sign up)
That’s why it’s a good idea to check an instance policy and maintenance before registration. (Or better yet running your own instance if possible)
2·1 year agoJust visit the site and select local tab. (You can’t interact with anything tho unless you’ve got an account there)
As others have mentioned in that thread. It would be better as an option from the user side rather than site wide forced implementation. I hope you open a GitHub issue/discussion in the repository so the idea could get more exposure.

4·1 year agoDoT uses the TLS protocol as far as I know while DoH uses the general HTTPS (443) protocol. But both of them are encrypted so you shouldn’t worry about security with any of them. Just use the one that is supported with your device/app

Most probably not. Unless you’ve installed custom root certificate provided by them. (which you most probably didn’t)
