Back in the day: Installing MS Office with all the bells and whistles. I think it was 26 disks.
Insert disk 12…
My first Linux experience was Redhat with floppies as well.
What fun.
I actually run 32GB on my desktop with Mint. I run 12GB on my laptop with Mint. Both of these have Celeron CPUs.
I love it.
Check this out from NASA. It’s called sonification.
I haven’t looked into who might be behind it, but maybe North Korea needs some cash.
As a truck driver I’ve been on both. The so called Loneliest road in the America is actually the loneliest road.
I don’t drive anymore. Drove for five years and I have drove both of them.
I love that you wrote “not cursing at actual sentient beings” . I love that.
I’m also a Hudson Hawk fan. Seeing this reminded it is in my Tubi watchlist. Going to have to go watch it.
That’s some Mad Men shit right there.
That damn Wallace. Why’d you let him come back?
Seriously though, he/she is pretty fantastic.
Who’s the buddy we can see?
Driving north out of Lincoln City, OR had a car come up the shoulder and nose in front of me. Then the police showed up and gave the car a ticket. One of the only times I was happy to see a cop.
Yes.
As somebody that drove truck for five years.
Yes.
No turn signals is the worst thing. But, a vehicle signalling to go to right, and then turning left. Lots of those.
Cars going off an exit ramp, and then leaving the exit ramp and coming back onto the highway. Looking at you Atlanta. I saw five cars do that in less than an hour in Atlanta.
Thank you very much.
Holy Crap. I have gotten into the arrow up mode. Then I went to History.
But, but, but ctrl + r. Holy crap.
Thank you kind sir or madam.
Oh, man. I’m reading Red Shirts by John Scalzi right now, and this hits home.
