I kinda liked the made up stories, like some guy saying he hit his wife in the face cause she was ‘being hysterical’ just makes me upset about the state of the world.
Clearly fake “I sold my friends dog because she ate the last muffin” is fun.

It’s like those doomsday cults that have to change the date after each time the world doesn’t end, first they said everyone would drop dead in weeks, then months, I think now they’re claiming that it’s a slow burner like smoking.
Nah, I’ve never been in the monkey house chewing ginger roots, they know this stuff, or work it out, not sure which really.
Not a scientific observation, but the zoo I used to work at often planted medicinal plants in primate enclosures because they use them. I think this has been common in zoos for a long while.
Seems to be currently down so presumably being fixed.
Flagged by who?
It’s pretty standard in divorces to agree custody as part of the divorce, most custody cases are just “This is what we’ve decided to do”, “cool, here’s a paper that says that”.
So the issue is that suitable habit is being eradicated and one owl is adapting but the other owl isn’t? Killing the first owl won’t do shit, fix the habitat!
US Fish and Wildlife are a really concerning organisation from an outside POV, I only ever see articles about them when they’re doing mad shit.
Foxes, birds of prey, and if we consider egg predation then basically everything. Rats are a big issue for all seabirds.
They have the same predators in the towns as on the coast, and they’re actually in decline.
I feel like “Okay” for a new food is normal. I’ve never loved a new food the first time, it’s either gross or fine and if it’s fine then maybe I need to cook it different or just try it a few different ways before it’s more familiar then I’ll enjoy it.
Basically this might be a food that in 20-30 years she’s sitting down with her kid and making them try it cause it’s “the best food” and being really upset by a lacklustre response.
I love that they’ve done a study to prove what all zookeepers know. Chimps actually mock each other, like if one chimp has a bad foot and does a limp other chimps will do the limp to take the piss. All the youngsters will pick on older ones that they know can’t or won’t chase them down.
Just put a UK address in?
There’s not much DNA available there, and it’s not as easy to get.
There’s actually quite a bit of DNA preserved apparently so it’s possible.
For me, the question should be whether they’re actually a species because currently most of the experts seem to think southerns and northerns are actually not distinct enough.
I have access to the email of a rescue I work for, like dogs and cats. The amount of these we get is ridiculous. We don’t want to be the top of google! We already get 7 million emails asking us to take animals or idiots looking for a free puppy for christmas!
American workers rights really scare me. Tipping being allowed to subsidise wages is awful, but so is the safety legislation, and child labour laws. We have issues in the UK obviously, but they’re relatively minor in comparison.
I mean, they have no medical care. There’s going to be all sorts of ops being done without anaesthetic. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that massive human rights violations are happening here. Just wish someone could do something.

It’s a really pretty fish isn’t it? I’m used to seeing them preserved and the colour doesn’t come across.
