I’ve never seen that stereotype. I’m not so sure it is one.

So basically capitalism
I went to Star Wars Celebration VI back in 2012 and it was $225 to get Mark Hammil’s autograph. I opted instead to get Peter Mayhew’s for $60. RIP Mr. Mayhew.
I was so confused about why both WD and SanDisk were mentioned but I know they are just the same company now?
I love seeing the Capys on the Urban Rescue Ranch channel on YouTube, there are 4 of them and they have an ASMR channel.
I’m still not quite sure what you think the Steam Deck runs on if it isn’t Linux. I can connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to it and use it as a computer. A computer that runs Linux.
If a user is using a Steam Deck then they are using Linux though.
I’m right there with you. The reddit thing has pushed me over the tipping point. I wiped Windows from my gaming PC and installed Linux Mint. I also am testing out /e/os on my phone.
I got mine in the first batch over a year ago and it was defective but they got me a replacement fast. I’ve barely touched it since I got it though. I hardly have time to play video games anymore.
Just like in Animal Crossing

I’m running my own server on a linode. I’ve got it on the cheapest tier which is $5 a month. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do when the 25GB gets full, I’ll have to find out the best way to delete old posts and pictures.
For most people it’s because nothing bad has happened to them personally… YET. They just get comfortable with what they are already doing and everything is fine in their life until one day it isn’t.
I stopped preordering awhile ago but honestly I just stopped buying games in general. I already have enough games to last me a lifetime and there is just so much trash getting released that I skip it all together.
The most secure thing to do would be to host your own server. You can do this with Bitwarden. Remember though that if you lose your server, you lose your passwords. You can also just use Bitwarden and their cloud service. It’s free and open source.
I collect cartridges just because CIB is way more money. I do have the boxes and manuals for about 20 games or so on storage somewhere.
You definitely can and “karma” definitely exists. Some apps show it, some don’t.
I’ve been playing it. It’s very weird but enjoyable
