“Thank you friend” is impolite? Maybe it’s informal, but I think that’s a great solution to the problem. I can’t imagine anyone having a problem with that except maybe an aggro asshole.

Having experienced both, I think it’s more accurate to say having bad relationships.
Having very strange dreams. I fell asleep with the tv on the night before. Never really did that before or since. Woke up between the two impacts.
Just to add to this, being selective about which card(s) you use and maximizing bonus points can lead to some pretty significant travel benefits.
I actually like nice catch, as long as it’s not an egregious error. There are often going to be mistakes in a document, even when prepared by someone completely competent. This acknowledges someone as being part of a process instead of focusing on an error.

What is the prime Una timeline, and when was it established?
Searched for the URL, still not showing up. Could it be a limitation of the instance I’m on?
General Lemmy question, and apologies if this isn’t the place. I found a community I want to subscribe to. [email protected]. Tried to search for it in various different ways, and kept getting no results. Used various formats and got nowhere. Eventually I navigated to startrek.website/c/[email protected] and found the community. I’ve now been able to subscribe to the community, but can’t see old posts.
Will I ever be able to? If I want to interact with older posts, am I SOL, or do I just need to be patient until older posts sync?

You could run away from someone in one direction and never hit the wall while things shrink and enlarge to make you seem far away from your companions.
I could see it online, yeah. If you use a friendly tone in person it wouldn’t be a problem.
