Personally, I like having a full fledged PC connected to my TV. Currently I’m using a Beelink T4 running Ubuntu. The PC is under my direct administrative control, so no surprises with ads or other things.

Power consumption may be slightly higher than an NVIDIA Shield or Roku, but at 24w at full tilt for the Beelink it cannot be that much more.

The same Beelink machine comes with Windows 10 as well, if you’d rather have Windows.

My (53m) idiot older brothers (61 and 59 respectively).

The oldest decided to scam me and the middle brother out of our shares of the family farm. It’s not a huge amount of money, but the fact he did what he did is enough.

My middle brother informed me, at Thanksgiving 2 years ago, that he was a member of the oath keepers and that essentially he was the new patriarch of the family. All of my political beliefs are bullshit and I had to subscribe to the right wingnut bullshit he adhered to. Military this and guns that. The stupid fuck was in the army for 6 years back in the 80’s.

If the recipe isn’t great, you’ll know and maybe make changes to salvage it. My family has several recipes like that, where the original is “meh”, but after tinkering it becomes a staple.

Most notable are our chocolate chip cookies. They started out as Toll House, but now includes browned butter, better chocolate chips and a few other techniques that makes complex tasting cookies.

Best thing would be to run it through am activated charcoal filter. That would catalyze (I think) the O3 to O2. Even HEPA filters would have no effect on ozone, as it’s a molecule made up of 3 oxygen atoms.

How do they plan to deal with all the ozone that will come off of those plasma speakers? I’ve made a plasma tweeter in the past and it sounded excellent, but the ozone it produced made it rather unhealthy to run for long periods of time.

Yeah, it sucked on the back end too. There were a few good things about it, but there are a lot reasons why Notes/Domino lost to Exchange, SQL Server, and Oracle. Mainly that those other products sucked less.

Ok, for some reason your text didn’t show up when I initially looked at your post and I missed you saying those are laurel bushes.

They tend to zone 6 to 9 although one variety (Portuguese I think) is 7 to 9. So I’m going to assume you are south of Kentucky.

Most laurels require trimming and a lot of it as they are hedge bushes. So the closer you plant other things, the more you will need to trim. My suggestion would be at least 3 to 4 feet out, at the minimum.

I’m in a lot colder clime so let look to see if anything in my garden would work for you. Irises and Lillie’s are great And bloom at different times.

A lot of Mods might be looking at all the work they have put into their communities over the years and think “I can’t leave all of this.” Which at this point, given Reddit Corp’s behavior, is a sunk cost fallacy.

It’s time to jump ship, or learn to live with the new reality. Which is really the same as the old reality, the thin veneer of civility has just been stripped away. This is Capitalism and it always turns out this way. Just look at how many products have been ruined, because someone, somewhere decided they needed more money.
