Nolla. They make great games with interesting vibes!
I played so many games on my Palm Pilot back in middle school. My Palm Tungsten T3 was great, and there were a shitload of freeware or shareware games released over the years.
I’m guessing it’s nostalgia. The bananas in the original game had stickers on them, but the newer games didn’t. There are a lot of people who love the old SMB games and are happy when anything is done to make the new ones like the old ones.
I don’t get being so excited about it, but these games weren’t a core part of my childhood. I played the party games in SMB 1 once and those were fun, but I don’t think I ever actually played the main game.
I think this is my favorite version of this fucking meme so far. I am giggling.
delet this
I live in Utah where we have a relatively high number of polygamists, and they’re all shit heads. My girlfriend works with a woman who was raised in a polygamist environment, and that lady went through some horrible trauma. Polyamory is the umbrella term that contains what you want, and it’s best to stick to it so that modern polyamory isn’t associated with groups like the FLDS or cunts like Warren Jeffs. Polyfidelity is more or less what my girlfriend and I practice with her other partner, so I totally understand the appeal. I’ll say that I do wish multiple marriages were possible, since it’s effectively what we want in the long run. We’ll probably have to approximate it with some form of contract or corporation.
do you mean polyamory? polygamy is where only the man gets to have multiple partners, and it usually comes with lots of abuse and misogyny. polyamory is sick tho, speaking from experience.
Thanks for finally being clear about your intentions. I was quite interested in what that biologist had to say, so I read much further through this than I normally would have.
Toodles, shitmuncher~
Rental prices are very possibly not determined by the market these days. RealPage and other companies like it may be colluding to fix prices at artificially high levels.
This ProPublica article covers the practice fairly well: https://www.propublica.org/article/yieldstar-rent-increase-realpage-rent
EDIT: apologies, that was the wrong article. This is the one I wanted to link: https://www.propublica.org/article/yieldstar-rent-increase-realpage-lawmakers-collusion
This comment is such a beautifully concise argument for the existence of block buttons. Toodles~
The other person may have responded with a fair amount of hostility, but they’re absolutely correct. I run Kubernetes clusters hosting millions of containers across hundreds of thousands of VMs at my job, and OOMKills are just a fact of life. Apps will leak memory, and you’re powerless to fix it unless you’re willing to debug the app and fix the leak. It’s better for the container to run out of memory and trigger a cgroup-scoped OOM kill. A system-wide OOM kill will murder the things you love, shit in your hat, and lick your face like David Tennant licked Krysten Ritter.
God, I’m so tempted. I do not need to spend $90-100 on one of these and a Game Boy Camera…
I don’t bother with those unless I’m specifically going for all the orbs. Like, I’ll get the closest one, but I don’t bother with the one you mentioned or the one that makes the boss spawn. There’s usually enough health to be had once you know your formations, and if you want mondo amounts of health, there’s always the heart mage trick. I don’t go out of my way to dig gold in the mines for the same reason. You can win without doing it, and it just breaks up the flow too much imo.
Noita is probably my favorite game of all time, and it’s an excellent rougelike.
Ahhh, I’d love it if I could tie that in with a Bluetooth OBD dongle and Home Assistant. It’d be awesome if I could set up a BLE proxy in my carport to automatically update stuff. It’d be especially handy if I could get alerted about check engine codes.
Eh, I have a low tolerance for this kind of bullshit. I know what I like and what I don’t like. I went through their posting history before blocking them, and I found that the subjective quality of their contributions failed to outweigh my irritation towards them. To me, it’s better to just block them and never risk seeing comments like this from them again. There are a bunch of people on this site who I’d rather interact with.
As a bonus, they’ll only ever have one shitty passive aggressive comment from me to deal with.
Ah, excellent, thank you! I love it when shitheads make themselves obvious so I can block them. Toodles~
I always just derive the interface name from first principles. Like, if I want to know which interface will be used to get out to the internet in a script, I’ll just find the one that’s L2 adjacent with the default gateway. If I’m given an egress or cidr, I’ll just find the interface that has that IP. Modern iproute2
has a JSON output option which makes getting this information pretty trivial. Doing that means that it doesn’t matter what scheme your OS is using.
I personally prefer the persistent names for Ethernet, although I don’t like them for WiFi. Luckily, it seems like my wireless adapter always just ends up as wlan0. I’m not sure why that’s the case, but it works out well in the end for me.
I prefer “As Foretold.”
